Student Scholarship and Emergency Resource Fund

MNIC intentionally recruits and serves a population of students who are facing numerous barriers to education including homelessness, single parenting, chemical and/or alcohol dependency, criminal background, and gang affiliation. Many of our students have not been successful at their previous schools and come to MNIC with significant educational deficits. MNIC is committed to continuing to serve these students. Donations will benefit our Scholarship Fund and Emergency Resource Fund

Scholarship Fund

Because most of our students already struggle with traumatic and life-changing challenges and barriers, it is much more difficult for them to imagine themselves being able to pay for post-secondary education opportunities. Therefore MNIC has started our MNIC Scholarship Program that will help students initiate their dream of beginning their preferred pathway beyond high school, whether that be college, trade school, certificate programs, apprenticeships, or any other options for post-secondary education. MNIC will use these funds to help students with initial payments needed to start their educational program after high school graduation like application fees, prerequisite classes, deposit fees, and more.

Emergency Resource Fund

There are often times when our students face emergencies and need financial assistance due to circumstances beyond their control. In most emergency cases, the school is not allowed to use public funds to help. The only way to help our students during traumatizing times is to use donated funds.
