Board Election Procedures & Timeline
MNIC will hold their Annual Meeting and Board elections in October of each year.
Open positions will be sent out to staff, parents and the community at least one month prior to the October meeting.


Open position interest will be closed 3 weeks prior to the election.
Ballots will be sent out electronically 3 weeks prior to the election.
voting will close 5 days prior to the announcement of the results.


Timeline for the 24-24 MNIC Board elections:
Interest will open 9/17/24 and close 9/25/24
Ballots will go out electronically 9/30/24
Voting will close 10/16/24
Results will be announced at the October 21, 2024 Regular Annual School Board meeting

There will be a school board meeting on March Board Meeting - March 18th 2024 at 4:00PM

These meetings are held at our Unity campus and all are welcome to attend.

There will be a MNIC School Board Meeting on Tuesday, January 16th at 4pm. Meetings are held at the Unity campus.

It is with great sorrow that we are sharing the news that one of our students from our Unity Campus passed away this weekend.

Classes start on Tuesday Sept. 5th from 9:00 am – 3:30pm (New Hours!)

Friday, March 17th MNIC will be having an E-Learning day, due to the potential of icy road conditions. Students and staff will be working from home. Students and families should consult the MNIC's E-Learning plan for additional information.

The Twin Cities area is expected to experience a historic winter storm this week. Snowfall of up to two feet combined with persistent winds will make for dangerous travel conditions later in the week. Given the confidence of the forecast and the predicted significant impact of this storm, MNIC has decided to make all weather-related decisions for the rest of the week in advance so that students, families, and staff are not left wondering what the next day will bring.
